Meltdown: Out of Control
*Has controller support for everything but the main menu*
My submission to the 2020 GMTK Game Jam, and my first full game. The theme was out of control, so you play as a physics based slime where the only control you have is a nudge in the air. To expand on the theme, your goal is to stop a reaction that scientists have lost control of.

good idea, but I couldent understand when i can use the bounce and when you cant, becuase sometimes when i tried mid air it worked, and other times it didnt, and the music didnt loops, but that is just a easy fix, Good job!
Thanks! I uploaded the build without music 15 minutes before the deadline, then added the music and resubmitted with 30 seconds left so I couldn't fix the loop. The dash was supposed to be clear, but it is filled with bugs still that I couldn't figure out.
Wow! I added music on the last few minuets too! xD and its ok if the games have bugs, we made them in 48 hours! thats insane!
Thanks. I'm looking at the code right now and I have so many failsafes already implemented for bouncing and dashing and the most reliable method is just the timer, I still don't understand what the error could be.
great game! the controls took some time to get, but after that it was tons of fun. There are some bugs related to the bounce though. Anyways, awesome game!
Sorry about the bugs, I tried really hard to fix them all but I realized I needed to focus on the rest of the game first, leading to the controls suffering a bit so I could finish everything else to the best of my ability and submit 20 minutes before the Jam ended.
epic :0 i do hope slime dude is safe too
Thanks! Unfortunately, there was an error that cut off the end of the dialogue.
it showed for me when I beat the last level the second time.
